The chef literally caught my husband on fire. We paid our bill in total and asked to speak to a manager. They did absolutely nothing to make it right. This restaurant is fortunate that they didn't cause permanent injury... just a burned arm and a ruined Nike Polo. There are a LOT of great teppanyaki places in town. Avoid this one at all costs!

My wife and I visited this place for dinner. We wanted to sit in the regular dining room and not the area where they cook in front of you. Upon reviewing the menu I settled on a chicken dish that sounded good but it came with steamed rice. I don't like steamed rice and requested a substitute. Almost anything would work. Steamed veggies or even fried rice. I would even pay extra. Server said no substitute available. In order to get fried rice we had to eat in the tapanyaki side or buy a giant serving placard which was way more rice then I needed. So I looked around the menu to find something without Steamed rice. There is nothing unless you get a salad. So we left without ordering and went to another Japanese restaurant by save mart center. Wow, they are hands down the best. And they actually figured out how to offer upgrades from Steamed rice. So, unless you really love Steamed rice go somewhere else. Also, they missed out on a $100 plus sale because of the inability to be flexible and offer what the paying customers want.

I am writing to share feedback regarding our experience during our visit on January 2, 2026, specifically involving one of your servers, Tammy L. What was intended to be a relaxing visit quickly became upsetting. Upon arrival, our party was seated with us positioned at the far end of the table. Tammy L approached and informed us that the chef would not be serving us because we were “too far out of the way.” While this was disappointing, we still wished to remain seated with our party.(The chef did not mind) After our order had already been taken by another server, our party felt uncomfortable and offered to switch seats with us so we could be closer together. Once we switched, Tammy L returned with an unprofessional and visibly upset attitude. I explained that we had ordered the same items as the guests we switched with, yet we were told that this had “thrown off the order,” despite no actual changes to the food. From that point forward, we were largely ignored. Tammy L focused her attention on the two guests who had moved into the original seats—the same area where we were initially told service would not be provided. The best! Unique place 👌 and to be honest, the best part was the attendants!thank you so much Didi! You are the best! Kind, professional and very helpful.
